What a delightful surprise Koruna turned out to be! Tucked away in the serene Carpathian Mountains, this gem of a resort-hotel exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the attentive staff made me feel right at home, with Lubermere's warm welcome setting the tone for a truly exceptional stay. The charming Junior Suite, adorned in traditional "huzul" style, was a cozy retreat that felt like stepping back in time, with intricate carvings adorning every corner.The culinary experience was a true highlight, with the restaurant's affordable yet delicious offerings showcasing the region's flavors. The buffet breakfast, brimming with local delicacies, was a treat for the senses. Exploring the lush green grounds, I stumbled upon the hotel's mini farm, where cute cattle and poultry roamed freely, adding to the immersive experience. The attention to detail in preserving the cultural heritage through the architecture and decor did not go unnoticed. The opportunity to immerse myself in the local traditions through Ukrainian art exhibits and a mini farm added an enriching layer to my stay. As a freelance journalist, I appreciated the free Wi-Fi in rooms, allowing me to stay connected while surrounded by the picturesque landscapes. Koruna truly sets a new standard in hospitality, and I cannot wait to return to this haven of tranquility and authenticity in the heart of the Carpathians.
